Terms & Conditions

  • These terms apply when placing an order via The Gift website or applications.
  • Creating an account or placing an order constitutes your acceptance of these terms.
  • Please read the terms carefully; in case of objection, please refrain from using the platforms.
  • Terms may be updated without notice; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
  • These terms are subject to Egyptian e-commerce laws; mandatory laws prevail in case of conflict.
  • Users must be over 18 years of age.
  • These terms apply to all sales channels (Online, Phone, Stores, Messages).

Disclaimer: These terms include a waiver of the right to participate in class-action lawsuits.

Your Account

By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to the terms of The Gift.

Ordering Policy

  • Verify order details before payment; errors cannot be corrected later.
  • An order confirmation email will be sent to you.
  • Payment must be authorized; otherwise, the order will not be confirmed.
  • The customer is responsible for the accuracy of order data and address; The Gift is not responsible for resulting errors.
  • You must provide your personal phone number and address.
  • You must provide the recipient's phone number and personal address (or workplace address for corporate gifts).

Note: For ethical and legal reasons, we must review messages accompanying gifts. Do not include private secrets, immoral content, or anything you do not wish for us to see. The Gift has absolute discretion to print or refuse messages that contain inappropriate hints or insults. If refused, you must choose a pre-defined template for printing.

 

Return and Refund Policy

The Gift does not have a return policy; however, you may cancel an order within only two hours of placement to receive a refund.

  • To cancel and receive a refund (minus fees determined by The Gift), you must follow the procedures on the platform.
  • The customer bears payment settlement and refund fees.
  • Refund processing time depends on payment providers and holidays; therefore, there is no fixed time binding The Gift for the refund.
  • After two hours from confirmation, the order value cannot be recovered.

Complaints Process

  • Contact The Gift customer service within 6 hours of delivery.
  • You may be required to provide a photo to assist in resolving the issue.

Recipient Refusal

  • If the recipient refuses the order, the customer may collect it personally, subject to additional delivery fees.
  • The Gift is not responsible if the recipient refuses the order.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • Customer Cancellation: Allowed within 120 minutes of placement; non-cancellable thereafter. Edible and pre-prepared items are non-cancellable.
  • Cancellation by The Gift: The Gift may cancel orders for logistical reasons or unavailability, and the value will be refunded at our discretion.

Rescheduling Orders

  • Orders can be rescheduled up to 10 days before preparation starts.
  • If rescheduling is due to delivery issues (wrong location, recipient refusal, or unreachable customer), a fee of 5% of the order value (min. 100 EGP) plus new delivery fees will apply.

 

Delivery Policy

  • Greater Cairo: Some areas may require additional delivery fees (up to 150 EGP or more based on assessment).
  • Delivery Attempts: If delivery fails after the specified attempts by the shipping company, redirection can be requested for an additional fee.

Allergy Warning

Products may contain unlisted allergens. Customers with allergies must exercise caution; The Gift is not responsible for allergic reactions.

Loss and Damage

  • The Gift does not provide insurance for shipments; any loss or damage is the customer's responsibility.
  • Liability of The Gift is limited to the total value of the goods provided.
  • Customers must report damage within 5 days with digital photos.

 

User Conduct and Security

  • Customers must maintain password confidentiality; The Gift is not responsible for unauthorized access.
  • The Gift does not share user information with third-party companies.
  • You may not use the platforms for illegal purposes, hacking, or impersonation.
  • Any material you post (excluding personal data) is considered non-confidential, and The Gift may use it for commercial purposes.

Intellectual Property Rights

All software, designs, logos, and content are the property of The Gift and are protected by international copyright laws. The trademark The Gift is a registered trademark and may not be used without prior written permission.

  • The Gift is not an authorized dealer for the brands displayed (unless stated otherwise); we source from trusted suppliers to ensure authenticity.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Gift and its employees are not liable for direct, indirect, or consequential losses, including loss of profits or business interruption resulting from the use of the platform.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes shall be resolved exclusively before its courts.

 

Data Protection: Personal data is handled according to The Gift privacy policy.
